  1. how about frogs I love them because I have never had problem with them catching weed but didn’t have much luck with them

  2. i have been fishing for like a month now and I havent caught a bass and im looking up what bait and im getting it but still cant catch anything should i get a senko??

  3. thanks for your vidéo.I would like to know if in usa fishing is well procted by law and so if police control very often.

  4. will a crawfish lure work but it is not rubber and its at a marina with carp, pike, bass, perch, bluegill, walleye, and sunfish

  5. Best bas lure for bass? Little cleo medium size in color of orange and gold. If the bass are biting this one will catch them. I caught a thousand of them and i don’t fish much at all. You may have to order this because they don’t have this color in many stores?

  6. Just started getting into bass fishing this past year and this video is very informative. I have all those baits and learned more about each one from this video than others combine. Thank you

  7. Got tired of the line getting wrapped up in the crankbaits front hook so I don’t fish crankbaits anymore. Same with top water plugs. Instead, I fish jerkbaits and to be honest the jerkbait is hands down the best hard plastic lure. Absolutely love the jerkbait and it is also great in saltwater

  8. I just now got into fishing 🎣
I’m 28yr old and even with the amount of YouTube videos ive watched and and research I’ve done… I still feel insanely overwhelmed. The lure selection alone is insane. Knowing when to use them and how to use them and how to rig them this way and that way and then taking the outside temp and depth of water and color and then having to take into consideration the type of line to use and all that. Still I think I’ve become obsessed woth the hobby. It’s just overwhelming lol 😆 congrats to the fishing ol heads you guys are the mvps

  9. All good baits but my question is we’re is wacky worms just yesterday I got 15 fish in only about a hour and a half with just wacky worms I was getting fish almost every cast there were so many I had to cut my line because one of them went crazy

  10. I do a lot of pond and small lake fishing for largemouth here in southwest Ohio.I carry three rods,2 baicasters and one spinning rod.I use the weightless Yum Dinger on my spinning rod and will also use a rooster tail.I have a buzzbait on one baitcaster and on the other one,I have a spinnerbait.I carry several of each lure in a small plastic container.Works well for me!

  11. You aren’t even gonna mention a quarter stick of dynamite? I guess we do things different here in the south 🤷🏼‍♂️

  12. Loved my spinner bait. too bad my mono leader snapped mid flight and it got sent to the stratosphere. Thought my knot came apart but nope, just shitty mono. Quality line is the most important thing you need.

  13. I’ve caught my biggest bass a few days ago . A 6 pounder and a 5 pounder . Caught them , and most other bass on a rooster tail and fluke. Idk why I can never catch them on twitch bait

  14. Bass are not discrimating eaters. There is no such thing as a magic lure. I have literally put treble hooks on a block of wood I cut out with a table saw and caught bass with it. I didn’t even put paint on it. Just…ordinary…wood. Bass are instinctual hunters. Their primitive brains are hardwired to respond a certain way in response to certain stimuli. If you show a hungry bass motion and behavior which triggers their strike response, they will strike. Bass will strike anything because they are opportunistic predators which will eat anything. That includes baitfish, worms, leeches, other bass, crustaceans, bugs, turtles, snakes, lizards, salamanders, frogs, mice, rats, baby ducks, and even alligator hatchlings. They will literally eat anything small enough to fit in their mouths. If you were small enough or they were large enough, they would even attempt to eat you too. Successful bass fishing is less about the lure or bait you are using, and more about finding the fish when they are hungry and getting at them with the tackle you have. Are they in shallow water or deep water? Are they put off by a change in weather? Is the water too cold or too warm? Is the water clear or very murky because of rain runoff? Most importantly, are they hungry? A hungry bass will strike. Period. Older fish or fish that have been caught before can be more wary than bass that are young and have never been caught before. Bass also move around quite a bit. On big lakes or rivers, you’ve got to find them. That means you have to know something about their patterns and what kind of water they like at certain times of year or when the conditions and weather are a certain way. Find hungry fish and you will catch them. Everything else in fishing is secondary to that ability. It’s simple knowledge and understanding which separates the great fishermen from the mediocre ones. So what if you can pop a beer can with a worm at 50 ft with your $800 casting rod. Bass don’t live in beer cans. A 10-year-old fishing from the bank with a Snoopy rod who knows the water and the fish will out fish you every time.

  15. How do I fix the hooks getting stuck to each other? If I remove the middle is it effective still? Help is greatly appreciated.

  16. Most concise and a great guideline for those of us who get easily confused by the thousands of different choices and techniques. Like everything keeping it simple at the beginning until you get used to rigging and applying these choices to the different locations and specific situations. That is the next huge hurdle and hopefully we can have some fun and success while becoming better fishermen/fisherwomen. Thanks.

  17. Probably the number one or near the top Bass bait is the Senko type stick bait. I have all the baits you mention here but the one that constantly catches more Bass for me than all of them in almost any conditions is the Senko style stick bait. They make them in a variety of sizes, thickness, and colors. You can wacky rig, Texas rig, shaky head rig, or drop shot them and they just plain catch Bass.

  18. I’ve followed Glen for several years now, and he usually talks about hook sets per technique. I recently watched two videos for beginners on light-wire type baits on spinning gear and although I already know about sweep sets and not really rearing back on them like a texas rig for instance, the two beginner videos I watched didn’t give that information. Just thought that’s really important information for my new fishing buddies. I believe one of them was Crankbaits for beginners (Aug 9,2023).

  19. Personally if I only had the choice to choose between when we were to take I would just take a plastic worm. They’ve literally worked for me better than anything else throughout the year

  20. id say a ned rig is a must when the bite is slow 8lb line a ned craw slow fishing bait when all else fails

  21. I got bass with stinky smell like worms that swim when u reel in and on top water lure that make little noise act like swimming bug trying get out of water chatterbait works on them as well and i caught bass different size daredevil lures rainbow color like spinner baits diffent color types frogs and if u into night fishing lures that glow into water work well in muddy water some bass live it and other type of fishlike pike catfish.with glow lures all u need to do let sun or if u night fishing turn on headlights or flashlight let it beam on it for 10 mins or more .bass love chase things glow in water make them hungry i guess.
