  1. As a single father of 3, My son is 2 years old and Friday is our first fishing trip together!! I’m super excited ! This video was everything I needed πŸ’―πŸ’―

  2. OMG… 5 years ago I made a comment on how great this video was and even more impressive is that I was the last one who posted a comment on here. This video STILL is great to me. Hopefully your kids are fishing with you on a regular basis.

  3. my kid is 2 and just cries when we practice casting…we are taking our first fishing trip tommorrow so I hope it goes well. You a really good teacher!

  4. still remember catching my first fish down at the river with my grandpa. Wish I had the chance to fish with him again.

  5. Hi, great video.
Would you recommend fishing rod for 3,5 yo girl? I’m in the UK so Amazon should be fine πŸ™‚ TIA

  6. I’m watching this with my five year old girl and made a pact that we’d do it too when we’re in grandpa’s place someday soon.

  8. Good job man! I took my 4.5 y/o fishing today, and he cast (we have been practicing at home) and reeled in his first (crappie)! The whole "Christmas Morning" feeling is spot on. Btw – you’re good people. Have fun with your kids.

  9. Thank you so much! I’m taking my kids fishing today and this video was everything I ever needed! Thank you so much!
    Great job Dad!

  10. Beautiful. I love the excitement from dad the most. Lol I think you enjoyed it more than the kids. Hahahaha

  11. Loved this so much. Thank you. Cant wait to take my little girl fishing for the first time when she wakes up from her nap!

  12. Awesome! I love taking the little ones out! My baby girl caught her first a couple of weeks ago! Three kids on the river bank is interesting sometimes but ALWAYS worth it! Cool to see all the support for these types of videos too. We just started our channel about a year ago. Good to know there is an audience for it! Good job dad and great video!

  13. Only took 20 seconds of watching to conclude you’re a good man and a great dad buddy. Your video is a great antidote to watching the news these days. Thank you, and all the best to your family.

  14. Good for you dad, thanks for posting. About to take my little guys and anxiety just thinking about how it’s going to go, but know they will love it once you feel that hit. Trying to keep myself ok with not doing any fishing myself while we are out there. Good little bit of tips here. Awesome you are teaching them. As far as the mud part goes again been trying to train myself to just let them have at it. Reminds me of what I’ve been told of dog training, it’s only 10 percent of training the dog , but 90 percent of training the the owner or parent in this case. Well done

  15. Great idea to have her slowly reel it in! The kids may get uninterested if they just have to stare at the bobber sitting out in the water!

  16. This is an amazing video, I tried taking my twins (turn 2 this week) and my oldest (turns 5 next month) and I had a hard time keeping up with them trying to keep the twins happy with snacks so they’d stop trying to put dirt in our ice-chest while letting my 4 y/o cast his reel. It was a fun memory but A LOT of patience if I’m being honest. I’m excited to do it again (I’m tired just thinking about it though lol).

  17. This has got to be one of the best fishing, parenting, family friendly videos of all time on YouTube good job Dad you rock!
